I just bought the 3D version of Hugo because I only buy 3D Blu-Rays and this one is non-violent so I can show it to my gentle girlfriend.
It was either the Eagles or Led Zepplin box set with videos of their tours, six or more years ago. Funny thing, I bought a blue-ray player (cause it had an hdmi port), but I think I've only had one or two blueray disks and probably watched only 20 videos on it total. Haven't used it in about 3 or 4 years, yet it's still hooked up using an hdmi port. I was thinking of boxing it up soon. You can see great music videos on YouTube, so why bother with buying music videos anymore.
Streaming sources rarely provide the video quality of a Blu-Ray and the 3D choices on Netflix are pretty pathetic, the last time I looked.
Yesterday I got a copy of the first release of Star Trek 6 (1991) -- Its the original 1992 copy and looks better then the 1997 copy I had!! (I wonder if the 1997 one was digital transfer) I also got THE DRIFTER (1988) -- Havent seen that in awhile!!
A friend of mine who owns this video store just got about 1500 tapes in the other day and I got a couple out of it... BEAN: THE ULTIMATE DISASTER MOVIE - 1997 (Mr. BEANs first movie (Its good (Not like the 2nd which was crap)) Octopussy - 1983 LIKE FATHER LIKE SON - 1987 (I havent seen this in years)
Thirteen Going On Thirty. My oldest girlfriend turned Thirty today, so I bought the DVD for her as one of her birthday presents. I'll be giving it to her at her birthday party on Saturday.

I only buy BD movies, last one was the Rogue Cut of X-men Days of Future Past. Has 40 minutes of extra scenes.
