What movie did you LAST purchase?

Added two 3D movies this week -- Pompeii and Life of Pi.

 

I last got "The African Queen" (1951) on VHS

 

Tremors (1991) on dvd a few weeks ago starring Kevin bacon and Fred Ward :2thumbsup:

Today I found the movie "Alien 4: Ressurection" (1997) -- THIS HAS GOTTA BE THE BEST OF THE 4 MOVIES!!!!!!!!

The copy I got someone had copied from a rental tape or something,it was excellent!!!!!! -- THIS IS THE FIRST MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED THAT HAD "DOLBY DIGITAL" LISTED AS THE AUDIO SOURCE THAT SOUNDED AS GOOD AS IT DID IN ANALOG!!!!!! (And I wonder if its because of how it was transferred to the tape I bought @ salvation army (Which wasnt its offical tape)) -- Usually any movie I put in that says DOLBY DIGITAL,does not sound or look good in analog!


ALIEN 4 WAS EXCELLENT!!!!! -- The video was beautiful and the audio was ALMOST AS GOOD AS IF IT WAS STRAIGHT DOLBY STEREO! (100% analog)

I think most movies that use Dolby DIGITAL use DOLBY SR (Special Recording) for analog,im not sure........... All I do know is ALOT OF MOVIES THAT USE "DOLBY DIGITAL" ARE NOT GOOD IN ANALOG!!

 

I last got the movie RAW DEAL (1986) on VHS

i think it was 10 cents ...pretty sure there was 5 dvds for 50 cents but all i wanted was the flying dagger one the others were bonus

On tuesday I got "Psycho" (1960) on VHS

 

I got 2 VHS movies today

1) Seems like old times - 1980
2) Murder by Death - 1976 (Seems to be what the movie HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL copied (1999) and this movie copied the original HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1959))

I could be wrong though.........

I got a movie thats recorded in SLP mode today as it looked interesting and I was planning on converting it from SLP to SP which would make it the best it can be....

Yesterday I got the movie 'THE POPE OF GREENWICH VILLAGE' (1984) on VHS

 

up to a couple christmas's ago everyone used to give DVDs, no one seems to do that anymore, i didnt get a single DVD this christmas, everyone seems to give cologne/perfume, got more this year when i still had 5 bottles from last year, and the shops seemed to be lined with every possible pop stars perfume brand

anyone else notice this, or is it just an australian thing

or is it just me and everyone is trying to tell me i smell

I think 1D and Bieber made more this year from perfume sales than music sales
