I recently purchased my very first vaporizer: the magic flight launch box (or mflb). Im very happy with my purchase, it definatly saves bud and right now I have 2.5 grams of some ABV (Already been vaped) bud sitting in a mason jar. What should i do with this? I realize its not enough for a batch of brownies and probably not quite enough to try a rubbing alcohol extraction. I've read on a few websites that you can make a single serving edible with about this amount, and I've even read that you can put it into capsules but I'm very skeptical of the capsules idea. Anyway, comments and input are welcome and wanted!
Make some butter and just eat it on toast or something. Be careful, it'll be way more potent than you'd expect. I made my recent batch of cookies with abv and I swear they are almost as strong as if I made them with fresh weed.
I appreciate your incredibly speedy reply, but i have a few questions for you. How much should i use? I have about 2.5 grams, its very finely ground up and its a light to medium brown color. Is there a ratio of butter to bud you use? I was thinking of cooking it inside of a muffin tray (Just in a single "Cup" on the tray, covered with tinfoil or something) at around 260-280*F. Finally, is this going to stink to high hell? I really appreciate the assistance! EDIT: I'd message you, but im ten posts short.
Honestly I didn't really weigh it out, just poured in everything I had. And I used coconut oil, but butter or any oil works well. I like to do it using a double boiler so that there is no chance of burning, I think it smells a bit less too. It's going to smell a bit either way though.
Ill look up the double boiler process for making butter, I cannot have anything burning! If you had to guess how much you used, what would you say? I've read stories on other forums of people finding ABV edibles to be overwhelming sometimes.

No worries, I decided to try something totally different. It may not work, but... I ended up taking 2.5 shots of 100 proof vodka, and mixing that with 2.5g of the powdered abv material, and I threw that onto the stove. I slowly heated it from lo to medium, then took it off and strained it with a cheese cloth. Im now using a coffee filter, as the final solution (About 1.5 shots) is a murky light brown color. After reading about people soaking abv bud with vodka, I decided that this would be a more thorough extraction in a shorter amount of time. ill drink half of it in some soda once its filtered, wait an hour, then see what happens.
Filtering with the coffee filter took much longer than expected. After reading about how powerful abv edibles can be I decided i will take it all in a single dose the day after tomorrow, when I have a whole day off of work. Its a very, very murky brown liquid but it I honestly don't think it will taste as bad as it looks, especially if i put it in with a small glass of coke. For now, its sitting in a mason jar in my closet. When i take it, ill be sure to report back. EDIT: Tomorrow i'll be sure to report back. If I don't update by tomorrow, odds are it knocked me out lol.
