Last summer we went to a nudist resort with my husband. I went in the hot tub. Two other women came in, said hi. My husband came to join me. Before I even had a chance to introduce him, one of the other women said to my husband "oh my, what a monster" while looking at his penis, and the other asked him how long it was. When I pointed out he was my husband, they went on to say how lucky I was (which I know well).
Is that kind of compliment against etiquette?

It is a tricky subject and a minefield.

As a single man, (almost) the only time I get an occasional complement at a nude resort is from gay men. They've always been pretty low-key about it though, so I've learned to take it with some measure of grace. When I've politely made it clear that I'm not interested, they let it go.
I'm not an attractive man, but in my mid-50s I'm in decent shape.

Perhaps if you lived or spent time in the southeastern US you would feel differently.

Summer... hot day, pleasant nights, naked all day and night around the pool, visiting friends with a moderate quantity of adult beverages, listening to music, experiencing life.

The summer breeze on your sun-warmed skin... it's intoxicating.... Reminds you that you are a living, breathing being.

OP - I would say no. That does not seem like proper etiquette for most clubs. Unless its a swinger club, then its like no holds barred from what I've heard.

fuck that. etiquette is kind of dumb. they saw a big penis. let them say so.

did they grab his big penis and cohearse your husband to cheat? no. why limit people from being one with their creation. Let expression ring in all forms!

My wife was with a friend who was well endowed, and in a nudist setting. And no one said anything at the time, but they got a lot of attention. She's very attractive and petite, I'm sure the men were thinking the worst.

I think it depents on the situation.. if it's teasefull with a wink and a smile, fine. If it's a a commentant with other meaning than no...

Depends on what context it is said really, obviously it's flattering but was it said in a fun or serious way? Where did the conversation go from there? I guess they saw you as a fun couple who wouldn't mind such a comment.

I've had comments before either about me or about the lady I was with, often they are just meant to be fun and best taken that way.

Etiquette is for people who conform to other people's rules, much better to just relax and enjoy yourself and not worry about such things.

The thing is, naturism/nudism is supposed to be the great leveler. Fat or thin, well endowed or small, large breasts or tiny ones....the ethos is that we are all equal in our birthday suits. So any comment about a person's build (or endowment!) is really out of order.

Some people like the complement. It shows the person takes the care and time to look good. Sure some men's penises are small. They came that way, but it helps them cope by saying they look good.

I guess most traditional nudists would say it's against etiquette, but I say, so what? I would definitely take it as a compliment. Obviously, it must have been pretty big to draw that comment....if you have a monster and it offends you, you might not want to get naked.
