I like reading about guys who come to the aid of a girl because it helps me deal with the fact that the guy who walked in on me being raped, stared at me saw me crying and yelling for help and did nothing but turn around and shut the door behind him.

If this is true, you should really talk to someone about what happened. A friend, counselor or, if you are religious, maybe someone respected in your faith.

 

Some people don't have a heroic impulse, and some that do aren't ready to react in the moment.

If it's any consolation, I would have ripped the guys nuts off.

 

And no offense to guys in general....

But I don't find the OP hard to believe at all. I've seen similar things with guys before. The whole herd, sick, disgusting mentality in that way.

Lots of guys aren't like that. And lots are.
