Hey Im really new to smoking and ive only done it 2 times, im always scared to smoke too much and have a bad trip... But i read on weed forums that i should just keep smoking. I don't have a scale so im not sure how much i smoke when i roll up. How can i prevent getting a bad trip but still get stoned? Any else here who is kinda nervous about getting a bad trip too?
Take a hit or two and wait to see how it affects you. You don't have to smoke a whole joint all at once. If you did smoke more often you might get used to the effects, but the best advice I can give is don't rush yourself. You could also try smoking a different strain of weed if you can find it. Maybe a strong indica that will not stimulate the brain as much, it would be more of a body high. But in most places you are at the mercy of your dealer.
I agree with the different strains, go to leafly.com, they have a thingy where you can type in what effects you are looking for and it will give you a bunch of maybes to try. I use it when I can't get what I normally use at the dispensaries to find something that is comparable.
Dude honestly it's weed. like even if you have a "bad trip" you could go to sleep or wait 90 mins. it's not like a psychedelic.. But pot should be fun and relaxing too, not really a "trip"
I can honestly say other than maybe the very first time I smoked prob didn't even feel nervous, I went threw a spout of having panic attacks when I smoked it but I found out later he was lacing it.. My advice, just smoke it! Its completely harmless and its not gona make u sick or fuck u up to bad or anything, if there was one thing I could relive. It'd be the time rightnow of ur life, the first few tokes.. After that my life went to shit lol, but I'm also a junkie now so go figure. But just toke it and don't worry bro, play a video game after or something.. I still play ps3 or guitar after I shoot up and smoke!!! Best time of my week..

How can one get a bad trip from real weed? I mean if it is smoked too much, it would make you feel like vomiting but you wouldn't feel like you are having an heart attack. Synthetic weed makes you feel like you are having an heart attack. Users call it "death trip". Heavy users enjoy death trips. But it's not just a trip, your body gets fucked up, your tension get too high so you feel like you're having a heart attack.
Grow your own and find what ya like, if it's legal were you are. Honestly, I like to camp on a bowl and that is why I do not like to toke with people most of the time. The things that make me freak are real problems. Cops usually freak me out as do people I cannot trust.
