White (Irish, Spanish, French), Mexican & Native.

25% Mexican/Spanish/Mexican Native mix (Lopez), around 35% Irish (Gallagher), 15% Native American (Cherokee), 25% French/English (Henry).

So I guess I'm kind of a mutt. What's your heritage?

That's not really your "Heritage", unless you were born in another country, live there still, and your parents were American.

It wouldn't even be true in that case.

I think you're misusing the term heritage.

My Ancestry is German, Dutch, and small traces of Sioux, ute, and Cherokee.

It wouldn't be true, but at least it would make more sense to say in that situation.

No, go ahead and look up the word heritage. Your Sioux and Ute is considered "American" heritage, but other than that you have a German and Dutch heritage.

Ancestry is just more specifically about blood, while Heritage is about Culture.

Heritage is about culture, Ancestry is about blood.

Look at your own definition before you look at mine.
    1. something that comes or belongs to one by reason of birth
That literally applies to blood and ancestry. Those are BOTH things that come to belong to you by reason of birth.
