Are Two Sides To The Story, But My Personal Opinion Is That The Cop

What the? 1/2 dozen cops, one guy with a knife on a empty tram.

He didnt run at them, puzzled as to why he needed to shoot at all.

Then keeps shooting him when he's on the ground.

Then 20 cops, then he gets tazered???

Shot six times after he'd fallen, gee golly gosh, why would anyone jump to conclusions

Looks like there is indeed cause to charge Forcillo with murder.

Wonder what sort of reaction there would have been if there hadn't been a youtube video seen by a million people.

The article largely seems to paint a glowing picture of Yatim, but he's on a bus with a knife. No real explanation of that. Then the smiling pictures, and the claim by a friend that "The shooting cut short the teenager's opportunity to live the Canadian dream". Is the Canadian dream to hijack a bus with a knife?

It seems that Yatim could have been subdued without lethal force, and the charge of murder is justified. Cops need to have a lot more self-control than they do. The picture painted of Yatim appears to be a bit too rosy, however.

he was Syrian...came here to live with his father 5 years ago and quickly fell into the easy life
