Hey, although this is my first post here I've lurked these forums for quite awhile. I recently purchased my first cactus, a peyote cluster from a reputable online seller. I just got this yesterday and as I was moving it from the small pot it came in to a bigger one I noticed that something strange was going on with part of it and someone I live with proposed rot. I am not sure whether it's rot or maybe it just hasn't been getting enough water, it took two weeks to deliver, so I am hoping that someone in this forum with much more experience than I can tell me what is going on and maybe tell me if it's a minor treatable issue or if you think I should ask them for a replacement. Thanks in advance.

Also I hope that this is the right spot for this post...

A picture or a more detailed description would help a lot. Is it soft or squishy, discolored? I can't really help without more info.

    Did your plant make it?
