Looking for some travel companions ! :)

Hey guys, I'm 18 and live close to Chicago and I'm going to start travelling beginning this June . I don't have much of a plan but to travel the USA ( and later other places) and stop at communes and volunteer. I'm looking for someone to share this experience with, someone who loves nature like me and is fun loving person. I defienitly want to stop at a rainbow gathering sometimes and also visit the Burning Mam someday. I also applied for volunteering at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Missouri but sadly they didn't reply.
