thru hikiing the pacific crest trail.

I am planning a thru-hike on the pct in may of 2014. I was wondering if anyone has completed the trail on here . I need to know if the trial ends in Canada or in the us. If it ends in Canada is it possible to Finnish the trail and then hike back to a town on the us side. I don`t think i can legally enter Canada because i have prior dui convictions. If anyone could help it is very appreciated.
