First time backpacking... looking for a partner.

Heya! My name is Rob. I'm 20 years old and currently in NY.

I'm planning to head out as soon as spring is here! I'm thinking around about April, or May. I have no particular destination, I just can't stand the idea of secluding myself in such a tiny portion of a huge country in a giant world!

I have experience in survival. I've lived in a cave for 6 months, and am constantly out doors. I'm doing this one way or another, solo or partnered up, I would just feel more comfortable with a companion to converse with, and ultimately share an experience with.
