Have you ever paid for sex?

I never really thought it was prevelant with the men I knew. My husband says probably about half the guys he knows have. I'm in disbelief. Of course, he's in the military, so a lot of military guys are able to travel on tdy's to locations where it is legal or widely accepted. I'm curious what everyone's experiences are.

 

I really enjoy licking the old snortch and can't really separate it from the overall act of getting it on.

There is a debate in our Parliament at the moment about decriminalising prostitution, so it's topical right now. One taxi driver told me he gets 10 fares a week asking to be taken to brothels or massage parlours.

Friends often say to me that marriage is a more expensive form of prostitution.
Or that dating relationships are rarely on an equal financial footing ie to try and justify/ "sell" it.

I travel away on business trips, sometimes a lot. Quite often, the other party will try and offer some vices. I politely tell them that its not my thing. Altho sometimes when they persist, I feel like saying "if my gf looked like your mrs, I think I would go along with your suggestion".

The other tack is that they have "saleswomen" ie company employees who basically act as escorts or whatever to the visiting customer/supplier. Ofcourse thats just prostitution too.

I don't have any problem with women or men who do that sort of job. Infact, I respect their honesty infinitely more than the duplicitous skanky women who target guys for marriage/ "unintended" conception/ money/ a lift up the career ladder etc.

Finally, I'd guess over half of guys in the military have paid for sex, maybe a little more.
The concept of fidelity is fine, but I think both parties have an obligation to keep it an attractive one.

 

I'm very suspicious of the 30-40% estimate. I can honestly say that I don't have a single male friend who has ever claimed to have slept with a prostitute.

I think its a fair bit higher. (This sounds like that tv game show lol).

Stag weekends groups splitting up late at night in Europe, business trips. Some guys will get pressured into it.
Others think "wife is ugly" and if their friends are laying down the cash for some Adriana Lima lookalike, they may well jump at the chance.

Later on they might regret it and think they were pressured into it, even something to be blackmailed against them. So they wont advertise the fact - even to other friends.

My feeling is "nah thats for losers". But Cristiano Ronaldo, and the like aren't exactly the same as the ugly guy with the ugly mrs - but even people like Ronaldo are tempted. Over 50% of guys is about accurate.

It kind of is prostitution though, no matter if they're called models
