Good Beer is good life. I have often and truly said that: BEER is the great love affair of my life. so beer lovers, what are some good beers that are your favorites you drink a lot? or just interesting beers you drank recently that maybe were worth mentioning.....? even if they weren't that good, maybe they were real interesting...?? i love to try new beers.....!! i am drinking tonight Moylan's Barleywine it is a really great beer that i fucking love. i recommend it absolutely! i guess it is a heavy beer - but i think it's so smooth and creamy - for a barleywine - i think it's so fucking smooth, it is a natural easy way to get into heavier beers, if you aren't into barleywines and wee-heavy's etc. but don't take my word for it!
Labatt Blue- nice and crisp Canadian Beer. Probably my fave. Used to like Lowenbrau back in the day, haven't seen it in probably 15-20 years.
Just had two of the sam adams barrel collection, going to have the third in the collection later on. I could talk about beers I have had all day. But lately im low on funds so I had to go to the beer celler and get out some I have been saving.
These are the beers I'll often drink; Löwenbräu Becks Hofbräu Bitburger Pure Blonde Bavaria Little Creatures Pale Ale
My fav is Anchor Porter from the Anchor Steam brewery in San Francisco. I also like Red Tail Ale from Hopland in the Emerald Triangle and also Sheaf Stout from down under.
no its a brewery so yes they might make a wheat beer but they make a malt liquor, they make a doppelbock, they make a marzen, and a dunkel lager. how i compare a brewery is to other breweries that make the same type of beer. so sure you dont like wheat beers but was theirs less bad than other wheat beers you have had?
I just don't like wheat beer altogether. It fills me up way too quickly. I can drink like 5 steins of lager but I'll barely get through a stein of wheat beer.
