In the history of mankind there have been many nutcases but has anyone ever been taken so seriously as Sylvester Graham? Many of his ideas have currency to this day. http://www.gutsense.org/fibermenace/fm_intro.html
me neither, but someone just went through and locked all the other recently bumped threads in this forum.
Ok I ain't Chinese but I know people whose parents fled communist china for Taiwan and eventually the US who have some respect for him. Was he that crazy? I dont know much about him
Penis mutilation I believe is still routine on babies in the USA today. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I consider penis mutilation as prescribed by Sylvester Graham to be child abuse. He was against masturbation. Science has shown that if a man does not ejaculate at least once a week , the chances of prostate cancer increase. He claimed a high fibre vegetarian diet would lead to a long life. He died at 57. Mentally ill people rarely live to a ripe old age.
I think Russia and Germany both had plans for the areas between the two countries and Hitler wasn't totally stupid. His initial response to war was to eliminate any chance of a two front war again which failed miserable because he ended up with a 4 front war instead but I think most of the acceptance of Japan was just to keep the Americans busy in the pacific. I always wondered what Hitler's face would have looked like when Japan bought America into the war lol.
My own nomination would be one Polish individual who's main work later carried the name of Karl Marx. Not his real name, of course, but it also wasn't his work in reality. He merely condensed it into a field manual for their operatives. My second nomination would be Charles Darwin.
