Lavender

Not sure where to post this but here seems to be the right place....

... I live by these massive lavender feilds where you can walk out and pick lavender. Just wondering what I can do with it after? Herbal remedies or anything cool like that.. I usually just put them into little mesh bags and leave them round the house to smell nice

Lavender is amazing for anything! Aromatherapy, teas...the uses are endless!

I envy you for having it so readily available! I can't grow it to save my soul! :tongue:

These are the fields, they are absolutely stunning! Would recommend a visit if anyone happens to be in the london/surrey area uk, they are called mayfields

The lavender fields are really beautiful!

I have made pot pourri from lavender flowers and leaves, dried seaweed and shells collected off the beach, a bit of lavender oil added to make the fragrance last longer!
Lavender sachets/ dream-pillows are nice as well.
