Why don't you put it in the signature so you don't have to type it everytime you reply to a thread? And why do you do this anyway?

Every time I see it, the name that's at the end of the post is just their username, and we can see that by looking to the left. It just always makes me wonder.

Hello la Principessa,

Why don't you put it in the signature so you don't have to type it everytime you reply to a thread? And why do you do this anyway?

Every time I see it, the name that's at the end of the post is just their username, and we can see that by looking to the left. It just always makes me wonder.

I like it that way ;). It's the same with emails, I don't have the salutations in an automatically appended signature. Think about it as a way to express how I value my readers, if you like it this way.

Regards
Gyro

You are the creator of your reality, you are the perciever and the life giver to what you believe is possible. You are God making all of this up in your own mind just as I am making a personal note in my own self created universe. We are one and nothing separates us no matter how hard you think we're not.

Individually, and collectively, we can raise the consciousness of the people of this planet, so that each of us will be viewed as members of the same family, who are here to claim their birthright of unconditional love and oneness. If we don't do it, who will?

The future is a concept, it doesn't exist, for that reason it represents the total energy of the universe where we can understand that the point of life, the place where it's at, is simply here now.

it doesn't really bother me, in fact the people who do it are proper etched into my mind when i think of this forum because i take note every time. sometimes i don't look at who posted it.

I really like the signatures at the end of posts. It's kind of like someone just sent you a letter

On the other hand, I have "signatures" turned off.

Why do people put huge pics in their sigs that take up more space than the actual post?

I wouldn't go that far. I only don't capitalize when I'm feeling lazy. Today is not one of those days.

Besides, I never said I hated when people did that. I was just curious as to why they did that. Fuck, people just love any excuse to hate me.

As it is more personal, you gotta put it into perspective.

It may take three seconds to write, "Cheers, Glen", but you gotta think Glenglen has 10590 posts. Multiply that by three seconds and you have 31770 seconds. 530 minutes or 8.825 hours.

That's how long Glen has spent typing that.. WOW I amaze myself sometimes...

As far as capitalization goes, It should be a force of habit, like turn signals or washing your hands after you use the bathroom.
