no one will approve of this, with the exception of a few of you on here but other than that I've realized that I don't want approval, I'm following my heart. Basically i go to college for free, on a football scholarship.. but i've lost my love for the game, and decided to drop out from an amazing college. But nonetheless, I'm moving to California this summer, and I plan to find an amazing school there to continue my studies. I don't know how everything will work out yet, i don't have a car, or a job, or any starting money, but i'll make a way.
go for it. don't go through anything in life like it's a means to an end. live every day. someday you'll look back and see how the dots connected.
You are right, it isn't a very good plan.. YET. but i'm going to finish out my year here with really good grades and meanwhile, i'll be creating a master plan!
Hmm that's kind where I'm at as well...I don't blame you for dropping out I can see lots of reasons to drop out.
well, i kind of decided to pick up where I'm leaving off and just go to humboldt state, I'm already finished with 2 years, so it wouldn't hurt to finish the last 2.. the reason I'm leaving is because I'm on a football scholarship and i don't want to play anymore, not for one more hour do i want to devote my time to it.
free college is a luxury many do not have - for that i would say stay in school but besides that, i'm with you. i've finished little over 2 years and am gonna make my way to california this summer as well...i'm not sure if i will go back to school, as i do want to get a degree - i just don't know if i am gonna get one soon i am also an art major, so my degree means little if anything to any professional. i need to focus more on my own portfolio anyways. when are you trying to go to cali? if you go through my area we could maybe hitch up. caravan or otherwise.
sure thing.. I'm thinking i want to be there some time in august.. that'll give me plenty of time to save some money & say my goodbyes. where are you?
I'm in Kansas City, MO little north of NC, but if you're headed to NorCal, I-70 is a good easy route across the midwest.
hopefully i'll have an income here soon, and seeing that i live at my parents' house i'll save most everything that i make. the goal is to leave late may/early june
fair enough, i don't have a phone right now but i will here soon. as summer gets closer we can finalize some plans but you'll hear from me soon
good luck dude. im thinking the same thing actually want to go to humboldt too. its super nice up there
