I'm 52 on June 30th and I'd have to say I'm an "old hippie". Things these days really blow large. Whatever happened to being "solid". The fukin' pills and crack and crud some scumbags make in their trailers have turned this planet into a smorgasbord of people as solid as soup sandwiches. Whatever happened to rockin' with Skynyrd, smokin' Thai sticks & opiated Afghan hash and getting laid without worrying about dying from a piece of tail? Free love costs me $180 an hour now. Scotty, beam me back to 1972 and just fukin' stay there. It turned into a Twilight Zone espisode that don't seem to have an end in my view.

first thai stick i bought was 8 dollars and had about 3 grams on it....the last one i bought in the late 70s was 30 dollars for about 3 grans also.....best stick i ever had was something called ''elephant stick'' no clue what origin but it came without a stick instead being wrapped in a brown paper tube...it had a hashy texture....by the time the eighties rolled around people were buying pounds of weed and paying to have it wrapped on sticks to rip people off
    ..good ol thai stick[IMG]

Well if your just taking about being an ol' hippie, I was in Sanfran during the summer of love but if your talking about being here at hip forums, I've been here since Oct of 2007 does that count? [IMG]

I originally joined in 2008, but was inactive for awhile; does that count? I've always been interested in finding anyone who lived in the Haight-Ashbury in 1969-1970. That's the time I was there.
