I'd Like To Be Alive......Breathing......With A Regular Heart Beat.... Grant Me That Dear Lord, And I'll Do My Bestest To Make You Proud Of Me... Cheers Glen.
In 10 years I'll be 28. Oh noes. By then I'd hope to have had amazing experiences and met awesome people. I'd want to have finished my degree, maybe gotten a master's or such, found a career in global development/health, perhaps. I'd hoped to have traveled a fair bit. To have become an experienced rock climber. I'd hoped to have done some work in third world countries. Maybe be living in an off the maps village. Maybe have achieved 'global citizen' status. I'd hoped to have done a lot of serious work and feel as though I've made somewhat of a difference. But I also hope to have had a lot of fun too, doing crazy, once in a lifetime things. I'd have hoped to have mastered at least one other language, maybe two. I'd hope that I've done enough to where my nieces and nephews are proud. More so, I'd want to be happy and feel as though I really was ALIVE each and every day of those ten years. That I had done them justice, and lived them to the limit.
I also want to have a large collection of shoes. I have like, two pairs of shoes right now. Extremely beat up flip flops and a pair of converse. Being broke sucks. I want to be in a place financially where I can dress well and take pride in the way I look. Sounds vain but if I already have love and happiness with my husband, I want to look good too.
I don't want much. I just want to graduate, to be a good doctor, to be in a good, loving marriage. Oh and to live near family and friends Financial security too.
a lot of things there's no way in hell i'm gonna fool myself into expecting. yah, king of planet earth sounds about right. doesn't it? no, but i'd like to see what i'd like to see. my little people sized solar powered narrow gauge multiple unit trains. among other things. forests and gardens and people building their own odd little houses.
