I was with a friend in Atlanta last night and we decided to check out what was going on with the folks at he Occupy movement. I got to talk to people with a lot of really interesting points of view, and also watched the police bring overkill to a new meaning. Probably around 100 police, if not more, in the small area at one point when the protesters blocked a road in the city. Police in FULL riot gear, some had what looked liked tear gas canisters, but didnt use them.

I have a few videos of a couple different things going on, like the police marching in on the protesters, as well as some of me in the Occupy movement crowd. I may if anyone is interested.

You wouldn't happen to have one of the motorcycle incident would you?

 

No im sorry. I saw the motorcyles lining up and leaving in the convoy (if that was the same time the other incident happened). I watched them all ride past from the 2nd floor of the hookah bar i was in.

 

At least you had a good vantage point for viewing

Classic.... endanger someone's life, and then when everyone runs in to save him, get them for assaulting an officer or whatever. Pigs.

Too bad the bike didn't fall and break his leg.

Cool. I saw the guy with the Poor Power sign in some photos, maybe from Creative Loafing. You might be in some of their shots since you were near him.

 

Possibly. Idk. I might go down again when i can, and when my college courses ease up a bit. Got a whole bunch of stuff going on atm.
