We've all been in this horrifying position many times. When it comes to hash, im mainly a noob really. I learned one process from a friend on how to get resin or hash or however it would be considered (once again im a noob at this sorry, i usually just smoke bud but im out :/) By getting a ziploc bag and letting your pieces or bowls and etc soak in rubbing alcohol for an hour or so, then you drain the liquid through a coffee filter, then making a double boiler system have the alcohol boil out then scrape the resin. If anybody needs an easy guide this may help. but does anyone have any other *EASIER* methods? thanks because boiling out the alcohol smells strong and i dont want anyone asking what im doing in the kitchen
Everybody I know just scrapes without all the extra stuff, but sometimes when my mom is having trouble, she dips her pipe in warm water for a second, then waits a few minutes for it to dry. She says the resin expands and then cracks up, allowing her to get chunks more easily. Pretty simple. No boiling or alchohol.
Yeah ive googled it and on the internet it says its a process for making BHO (butane honey oil) i mean i know what BHO is, but one more thing, ive tried it before and it worked but the resulting reward was pretty abundant. but I didnt really get that high? but i noticed whenever i let it dry out extensively, rather than just letting it stay sticky (not wet, its already been dried, the double boiler system acts as an evaporating system for the alcohol, thus resulting in dried sticky resin on the plate to scrape) Does anyone know if it needs to be thoroughly dried before smoking? (i know this sounds like a stupid question, but the alcohol is completely gone after evaporating, the resin is just sticky from being hot, do i need to let it cool and dry before smoking i mean?) And thanks by the way everyone for the responses, that is a pretty good idea primalflow alot more natural
I may not have done it right, but the one time I tried it, I found it easier to scrape it while it was still wet and let it dry afterwards. Experiment
