So...which browser do you all run?? what's your favorite one??and why?? I can tell you all about Avant,Slimbrowser,Google Chrome,Internet Explorer 6, Maxthon,Firefox,Seamonkey..and Opera...for the moment I run on Firefox.. I found a browser called Comodo Dragon..which is based on Google Chrome... very fast, like Google Chrome..worthwhile a try.. every browser has got its advantages/disadvantages.. I usually switch between browsers..most people find Firefox the best.. any comments??
Microsoft Explorer..6, But Iv'e Been Receiving The Occasional "Knockback" From Some Sites, So I Guess It's Almost Time For An Update.... Cheers Glen.
Glen, One can run 2 or several browsers..it's easy to switch... try Maxthon...I reckon you'll be pleased about it... it's based on Internet Explorer anyway.. http://www.maxthon.com/
Mozilla. It sucks, I hate 6.0.. Oprea.. It sucks scroll is outa control. safari it sucks logs me out everywhere. I aint got time for that shit.
I'm using Mozilla right now, but have to use Chrome for some things because for some reason, Firefox isn't accepting certificates for secure websites. I'm sick of Firefox...its giving me hell lately and it seems there's a new update to try and "fix" these problems every other day. It lags, takes a long time to start up, and freezes way too often. Damn you Mozilla! I used to love Firefox!
Google chrome. quicker than the internet explorer I originally had. Plus, I have all the sweet themes to choose from.
Google Chrome is a fast browser...although in the beginning I didn't like their interface... Comodo Dragon is based on Google chrome...and I think still faster Comodo Dragon - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com http://download.cnet.com/Comodo-Dragon/3000-2356_4-75119680.html
Chrome. It's straightforward and just seems more solid than the others. Plus the bookmarks bar is a lot easier to use than IE's. I just dread to think of the net without it...well maybe that's a bit strong but I just love ma Chrome.
I have IE6 but i usually surf with MyIE2 (Last version before name change to Maxthon (and going downhill))
On this computer (an old desktop piece of crap) I use Firefox. On my laptop (which is a tad newer than this computer, but still shitty) I use Safari. On my iPad I use Safari (it is the default). I prefer Safari but it tends to slow down the computer so for the old desktop I revert to using Firefox since it is better than Explorer but not as slow as Safari.
I rarely use IE8,mostly I run Comodo Dragon or Google chrome... I think that Comodo since it is based on Chrome..is even faster then Google chrome
Chrome, fast and plenty of extensions to custom it to my fancy! Still use Firefox for web developing though.
In 2004, it was Mozilla Suite, then Mozilla SeaMonkey for many years, until the last year or so when it became 50% SeaMonkey, 50% Chromium. (All of these were always unstable nightly builds.) Today I use Google Chrome "dev channel" with all bookmarks management done in SeaMonkey and ported over. What I particularly like about Chrome is the "Block all third-party cookies: When the option to block third-party cookies from being set is enabled, also block third-party cookies from being read." option. I've had it on since it first showed up, very useful, especially given the recent Facebook tracking revelation.
I will have to check out GoogleChrome. I have tried Explorer, Navigator, Firefox, and Safari, but never Chrome. I'll download it for kicks and see if I like it...
Firefox and Chrome. It seems Firefox gets more sluggish with every new version. Chrome reminds me of a young Firefox but Firefox is compatible with more sites.
Chrome! haven't tried anything else besides IE(which is pure dog shite in my opinion), and Safari - but I don't have a Mac, and even then I still prefer Chrome. It's just easy and there's not too much going on, don't feel the need to customise anything else except the skin.
C'mon, surely its all about Safari?! It's so slick and beautiful! Although I am hearing a lot of people talk about Chrome now so might have to give it a test drive. I'm just aware of people saying its incompatible with a lot of sites...
