The Ruins

It's a few years old now, but I just watched it it was on TV

I don't know I've always liked horror films, ever since I was 8 years old. Some of the shit coming out these days though..

But this was good. It's as formulaic as it gets and why not. I thought it was really well directed/acted and was quite inventive nonetheless. It scored a 1 star in the soapie TV rag mag, but what do they know...

I thought it was okay. I would watch it again if it came on TV. But, I definitely wouldn't spend money buying it on DVD.

 

I really enjoyed this movie. I watch it once every couple of years.

 

Seen it twice, will watch it again. One of the better "shot like blair witch" movies, at least somebody got that right.

 

Was this the Mayan temple movie?

Wasn't a fan.

 

I liked 'the ruins' , I thought it was pretty good to be honest.

 

It was ok. The scene where the "ringing phone" sound was apparently coming from a plant was pretty creepy.

 

no joke, this is the only movie i have ever brought and after it had finished in one motion i opened the disk tray snapped the disk and through it in the bin.

and the trailer looked so good i brought this on day of release full price! so funny now looking back at it

 

It's okay but the book is legit soooooo much better.
