Hello to my African Brothers and Sisters from usa

Jambo!

I'm totally stoked for the continent of Africa and its upcoming major role in world affairs. I was listening to a technology show on the BBC, and they mentioned a growing trend in Uganda towards Africans picking up computer and web programming. If there are any Africans who do web programming, or computer programming in general, please share your experiences, and whether you feel that there is truly great promise for The Motherland in terms of a trend towards technology. Are you as excited for the future of Africa as I am?!!
