I'm bouncing around between 1.) The Complete Wizard of Oz Collection --L. Frank Baum 2.) A Princess of Mars --Edgar Rice Burroughs 3.) A book about Zen culture... "Zen" lol 4.) A bunch of different DC graphic novels. Currently Captain Atom.
Revisiting 'Food of the Gods' by McKenna. Wow, this guy's kinda pompous and his theories ...somewhat flimsy this time around. Maybe I was just more starry eyed when I read this as a teen. Who knows. Or more crabby and suspicious in my tottering old age.
"The Prism And The Pendulum",A description of the ten most beautiful experiments in science,by Robert P.Crease.
I am reading a book for work, Notice and Note. It's about a reading strategy. I tend to read work related books during the school year.
I just finished On Being Here to Stay by Michael Asch. It was for a school assignment but is the kind of thing I would read anyway. Right now I am reading a few chapters of Foucault's Birth of Biopolitics for another class, and have a dozen journal articles on harm reduction piled up on the table beside me. Outside of school, I'm reading The Book Thief.
