what is blackboxing?

going out west. a friend wants me to help with the blackbox. what does this mean? can some one explain? do u put the buds in a blacbox?

its when you dark cycle the finished bud in 48hrs or longer of total darkness.. it reduces chlorophyll since there is no light to produce it.. making buds lighter, it varies with the type of marijuana you grow..
