3 things you did today...

1. Bought a lantern
2. Took a walk in the snow
3. Became very jealous of Shale for having such lovely weather

 

If it will make you feel better I had perfect beach weather for one hour and 15 minutes. Then a cool wind and dark clouds came up.

But that hour of sun should give me a little vitamin D and keep me from going completely blanco.

 

I need to start thinking of moving somewhere warm. I don't think I have ever had a colour more than 'vampire white'. I burn, turn bright red, then it fades back down to white

 

1. ripped an giant bong a few times
2. learned me some geology
3. envied florida's nice weather and thought about visiting for spring break

 

1. Woke feeling horrifically ill and took morning cocktail of medications went back to sleep till 2pm.

2. Got around and chatted with my best chat buddy.

3. Left the apartment to go get groceries and tobacco.

Same Shit Different day!

 

1. Caught a huge trout.
2. Had a tuna fish sandwich (and Diet Pepsi) for supper.
3. Attempted (for the third time) to read MOBY DICK.

P.S. I still say Hemingway's - THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA - is a much better book about catching that elusive great fish. Plus he expressed the impossible - in a page turning novella. The last thing I wanted to do - was turn the page in MOBY DICK.

It was way too huge.

 

1. Went to the beach.
2. Had my hair cut.
3. Fell in love with Katherine Moennig all over again!

 

1. Did some shopping for a disabled neighbor.

2. Finished a biography about Jodie Foster (written by her brother).

3. Sent 2 poems to a publication about how one goes about existing on less than $7, 000 per year. (Coupons! You must clip out those wretched coupons - that's the secret).

1. Stayed in and played around on computer this cold morning (upper 40s). Loaded Foot Pix on several sites.

2. Went to bank to get a new debit card (expires 03/10) Hope the old one works until new one arrives next week. (How we get used to these things).

3. Gonna try to make the cineplex to see a movie, but really got to ride fast.

3. Still too cold to bike in the wind. Gave up that idea. Go back to thing #1.

 

1. Cleared a healthy sized nug out of a roor w/ 1 breath (training for bong rippin contest)

Thanks for the nice message on my profile page. First one I ever got! It totally made my day. I guess I'm not all bad.

1. Staggered towards Safeway (still recovering from a godawful flu virus). Stocked up on healthy groceries (there literally was not a thing to eat or drink in my humble apartment). Not a good thing. Bought another box of Theraflu. Jesus, I hope that stuff actually helps - especially at $6 a pop! I mean, I'm like this starving poet and everything. Can't afford to waste a cent.

2. Counted the number of homeless people (sleeping in doorways) - on my way back from the store. The grand total came to 12. And Safeway is just a five block walk. America, this is scary: I thought things would change for the better? I guess not for the desperately poor.

3. Watched this really cool DVD: WAKING THE DEAD. Even though it sounds like one of those bloody zombie flicks - it's actually a very touching love story. Great script, acting, and soundtrack. I totally suggest taking a long peek.
