Yeah, I agree. I think Conservatives should be banned from joining the military. Do you really believe that government is the most cost effective means of helping people? Have you noticed any of the news related to the UN aid being provided in Haiti?

Yeah. Nothing ever seems to go right these days. I believe government should do a hell of a lot better job of it. Yes,I believe we should have socialized medicine and socialized education. Education is the key to solving most if not all problems. Medical care is life itself.Imagine the outcome if EVERYONE on earth was ,or at least had a chance to become educated and be healthy.Educated people are pretty good bullshit detectors and for one, the political scene would change dramatically. That I wouldn't mind paying for,but I've been paying for grenades and such for decades and I'm damn tired of it.

Would you not be willing to call that Socialism? Wouldn't it be nice if all Americans had a PhD? In...? Spencer, in 1864, recognized the evolutionary process as "survival of the fittest", when medical care was quite poor in comparison to todays standards, and the world population was about 1.5 billion. With todays advancements in medicine and medical procedures, along with a world population of about 6.8 billion, what might we expect as a result in, say, the next 150 years if we were to implement a "survival of everyone" regardless of cost or ability to pay government imposed and taxpayer funded medical care system?

I'm trying to stay on topic somewhat.

Now we're are probably getting to the real problem--population control. Some have mentioned it ,but no one takes it too seriously. Somewhere down the line it will HAVE to happen. The talk is always about NEEDS-more electricity ,more housing ,more cars, more jobs, more oil, more, more more, most of which are wants, not needs. I believe most people think we can just keep building ,turning resources into trash and having children until--what? I won't be around for the end game ,but isn't it inevitable that chaos will ensue when the population reaches some figure like 10 billion--20 billion? I can see it coming from where I've been in the distant past to the present. It's a dilema to me.

China has, but still has a growth problem. I'm surprised the gay community hasn't recognized promoting population growth control as a positive benefit of legalizing same sex marriage, and sex change operations.
When a problem exists which progressively worsens, we can continually focus attention on the effects and work around them until they become unsolvable except by draconian measures. WW III?

Holy crap, man. The gay agenda, China, population 'control', sex-change surgery, an ever-worsening problem, a pointless, ultimately unsucessful period of wasted resources attending effect over cause, police-statism, and world war. And from a pretty short paragraph. Impressive.

Of course we could optionally grow government, increase taxes, regulation, and deficit spending.
