Lactone(GBL) legality in canada?

I've searched the internet high and low for information regarding the legality of gbl in canada and the repercussions of ordering it from overseas countries for legitimate purposes such as it was intended, as a solvent and wheel cleaner, but havn't found any useful information. I thought it was still legal to purchase but im somewhat skeptical and don't want to take the chance of getting hassle from law enforcement for such a purchase if it is too risky.

Any info? it would be greatly appreciated.

 

I believe it's a schedule III in Canada, but I'm not 100% on that.
