There's a fucking mushroom growing out of my carpet!

Doubt kinky has plans on eating it, But can tell you right now, Its not a active psychedelic or edible .. Its not a poisonous mushroom either.. Its just a mushroom..

I know!!!! And it just popped up out of nowhere! That's right by the front door, underneath the coat hooks, I keep my purse and keys over there, so I always look over there...it just appeared out of nowhere! lol

someone must have been smokin some dirt and tossed a seed

 

yeaps.. Ive had a plant grow in the rotten wood on the steps once, it died.

 

I transplanted it, and got it up to 3 or 4 nodes then my roommate decided to kill it

That's nutty! I've never heard of that! I've always lived in very arrid climates though. You can rent a rug doctor for like 20 bucks if you don't have a stea cleaner and put the lysol straight in there, mixed with water and tea tree oil (If you don't have like wool carpet or berber). It will prevent fungi or bacteria in your carpet and in the pad.

 

Only found this site cause I was searching about a mushroom I found growing in my carpet. it is in between a sliding glass door in my bedroom and a baseboard heater pipe, I'd say equally spaced between them. The house is over 300 years old but the addition the room is in is only about 175. The doorway to the outside about 35 yrs. amazing to me the only place I seen that is in one of the newest areas.....Think I like the oldtimers work better
