There's a fucking mushroom growing out of my carpet!

Buy sawdust an throw it all over your carpet. Idk if that will help anything, but it seems like an interesting idea

Well, the carpet's so worn down in that spot that you can mostly see the floor...but I live in a trailer house and when they put them together, they build the walls on top of the carpet. To remove it would be a feat of God.

That is freaky. Before this thread, I've never heard of mushrooms growing in random household areas.

That happened in an old house I lived in once, they sprouted out of a basement bathroom wall. Surprised the hell outta me too!

 

We have a few pictures, they're just on Daniel's computer and he's busy with WoW and his computer won't let me connect to his right now, lol.

Yes, our carpet does need to be vacuumed, but that disgusting looking pile of nasty next to it is just a bunch more mushrooms in waiting. The Lysol took care of all of it. :ack2:

You really can't tell just from the picture. There are more criteria, such as the underside of the cap, pores or gills, etc.
