I'm getting some really freakish looking green beans in my garden, talking like 4 to 6 inches long, and really gross and bulging. I just need to know when to pick them, cause i've noticed that once they pass a certain age, they get kinda circus like that, but even some fresh ones look odd. Like, instead of the beans being spread out, they'll all bunch up at the bottom of the pod. There is this one that has been on the plant for like a week, i don't even wanna touch it it looks so gross. It's like some alien pod thing ready to burst open and suck my brains out. And on the plant where i pull off the pod, will another grow in the same spot afterwards?
