how many cfls per plant/stages

as above i hav 3 seedlings 8 days old now how many cfls shud i be useing.i useing 3 at tho mo 1 each advice wud be great? thanks people

 

60-80 watts of cfl per plant of the 6400k or 4000k type for vegging although i'd still have 1 2400k type per plant just to provide a fuller spectrum. For blooming you want mostly 2400k types but remember they wont last much more then 6 month before ya will need to replace them.

 

you could probably get by with 2 23watt bulbs for vedge and maby 2-3 40watt bulbs for flowering a smaller plant (under 2 ft). remember this is the bear minimum, more light equals healthier plants which means more pay off for your work. i also found its better to get the slightly more expensive brand for 2 or 3$ more, they put out more lumens for sure.

 

from sprout to about 4 inches: 1 bulb per 2 palnts, minimum 2 bulbs though.
4-12 inches: 1 bulb per plant
12-17 inches: 3 bulbs for every 2 plants
18 inches to finish: up to 3 bulbs per plant

this is assuming that you use 20-26w CFL bulbs.

im currently useing 6400k daylight white 25w spiral cfls 1510 lumen will thease b any good?
