Many thanks in advance
17 seem a bit young for this kind of problem. I am not an expert, but I assume you have talked to a doctor about this problem. My first thoughts would be heart disease. High cholesterol can cause this problem. It blocks the arteries going to the penis and keep you from having an erection. If you have not done so you should get this check out. I hope this in not your problem. If it's not a physical problem, then it could be psychosomatic. This would be less dangerous to your physical health, but harder to over come. At any rate, I wish you will, and hope you over come this problem. 17 is just too young to have to suffer with this. <(^o^)>
It's probably not high cholestorol at his age. You probably have Prostate problems. You should ask your doctor if theres somethings wrong with that. unfortunately, they only have one real good way of checking for the cancer...good luck.
17 is way too young to be having boner problems. If anything you should have the opposite problem. Get to a doctor man. Seriously.
man when i was like 17 i kept an erection but now that i am going on like 50 something i will take what mother nature gives to the wife and me!!ie: wow time to take a pie break!! he he he
Maybe anxiety or stress, maybe a prostrate problem like others have said. Go to a doctor man. Please get better.
If you can get it up for masturbating you don't have ED. Most likely it is caused by stress or anxiety, pressure to perform.
At 17 years old, you should have an erection more often then not. Go see a doc to correct this problem. This is a symptom of some other medical condition You may have diabetes, high blood pressure……. Seek medical help. You’re missing out on sexual pleasure...
At your age, it is very unlikely that there is something physically wrong, but it is a possibility. Here is what a doctor will tell you to do. It's going to sound like a joke, but its serious. Get a piece of medical tape (the type that won't rip the shit out of your skin) and tape a band around your flaccid penis before you go to bed. The tape should not be tight at all and the ends should just barely overlap so that it is easy to pull free. Go to bed. Wake up. See if the tape has fallen off or if its the same. If it came off, you had a nocturnal erection and NO ED. It it doesn't come off for a few nights, its time to see a doc.
All we can do online is guess. So the best solution would be your physician going through the process of eliminating any physical issues. Just some thoughts: Don't know if you have been watching porn for many years but I suspect it can have an effect eventually on what the brain becomes conditioned to. Sexually excitation starts in the brain. If the brain is not excited nothing is going to happen until it kicks in. If it's conditioned to react to cyber sex then the same reaction may not kick in when the real thing is available. The problem snowballs. When you start having erectile function the problem snowballs because of your embarrassment and humiliation. Eliminate all the potential physical problems first. Good luck.
Go see a doctor. Also, try saw palmetto. But don't do what my grandpa told me to do when I had that problem. He said pee on an electric fence. Bad idea. (trust me on that, ok?)
Probably not, but that doesn't mean someone else who comes across this thread cannot get some valuable information from it. I had a freak case of ED in my mid 20s. I found out later that it was a side effect of the prescription meds I was taking.
