Oooh, I used to live in Waterval Boven which is about 30 mins from Mbombela Soccer Stadium. My parents opened up a restaurant there called The Whistle and Trout about 13 years ago, across from the train station Heard of it?
It's all good man, just a crazy thought cos right now I'm sitting at home outside Manchester having a brief conversation with a randomer who's fairly close to a 1 horse town I didn't think anyone will have ever heard of, that I grew up in Crazy shit! It's worth a visit if you get the chance, was a pretty place - hopefully it still is
I'm from Cape Town. It seems the only people with a hippie-like vision and attitude that I know personally would be my fiance and my parents. Which is cool, but friends? Nobody that I know of. It would be awesome to just hang out with people who also feel they were born in the wrong era, just chilling to good ol' 60s rock n roll and just plain having FUN!
I no longer live there, but I feel a similar hippie spirit to some of the people, I'd love to chill with some of you guys whenever I go back
