my weed taste like perfume or soap

got a qtr of 'silver haze' looks dank as fuck but taste weird and leaves a perfumey/soapy taste in the mouth after smoking. a google search revealed that this was not all that uncommon, nor necessarily malignant. so, anyone here know what the deal is? does it just have something to do with the way it was cured / grown, stored, transferred? Or did someone spray perfume or soap all over their weed?

 

It's definitely not how the weed should taste. More than likely it's how it was stored. I've smoked weed stored in baggies in dryer sheets to cover the smell and it was horrendous.

Looks like whoever you bought that from has no idea how to properly store weed.

could be fertilizer, other chemicals is my guess

i always notice the parfume smell on my fingers rather then from the actual joint

 

somebody kept it in a pocket etc that smelled like perfume ...change bags and let it sit out the perfume cant evaporate in the bag ..it will work..trust me

i also agree with dryer sheets.. its not just from storing.. when shipping large weight.. usually there will be a layer of dryer sheets... lotion.. etc.. to try and mask the smell.. 100s of lbs of weed.. especially danks.. will reak

 

i just wrote a paper for english about how toxic dryer sheets are....im really not trying to smoke weed thats been wrapped in that shit long enough to retain the smell. fuck, i might try to sell some of it now...unless anyone else has smoked 1/4 of soap weed and not died, or can tell me that it's not due to dryer sheets

i've had the dryer sheet weed before. we said it tasted like laundry detergent...then dryer sheets.
