    No, not tobacco.

I'm curious about how many old hippies still get high .....

and if you do, are you able to use medical marijuana or are you forced into breaking the law?

    <~ law breaker :( ,

but for medicinal purposes. i have a scrip for marinol, and hope i can convince a jury that i was just "self-medicating"...

But i DO love the feeling of being high! :sifone: :coolgleamA:

Confirmed "pothead" of 37 years and counting. But I'd rather eat it. It's much healthier that way. Regrets? None what-so-ever.

YES: I do smoke and I do smoke for my health. I am alot luckier than most of you are because I'm a Canadian and we have a Federal health exemption law here. It might be a little bit harder to get an exemption here in Canada as compared to a US state but it is under federal jurisdiction . Even if I wasn't smoking for my health I'd still be smoking. As Alan Ginsburg said, "Pot is fun ".
    Isn't it?

Smoked a lot in my youth, I still toke occasionally though I'm now older than my dad was when he bitched me out for smoking pot. What a difference a generation makes.
I've always just ground it into a powder and baked it into brownies or cookies. Seems to me eating it raw, you might not digest it fully and it will go through your system before it can release all of its THC. Besides, doesn't it taste shitty that way?

thanks for the info.not too bad a taste but like you say better effects if it's baked first.

No I very rarely smoke these days- - maybe I share a little with my son b4 thanksgiving dinner- - I always throw on Alice's,s restaurant and take a few hits- but with my daily methadone dose it usually puts me right to sleep

Looping Alice's Restaurant all during Thanksgiving dinner has been a family tradition of ours for several decades.
