anyone else not watch tv?

i hate tv. nuff said on that note

 

no tv here...no way, no how

 

No TV, I sincerely hate it. I haven't even owned a screen in 14 years and I don't miss it at all.

 

I don't watch it often. I've been recording Big History lately though.

 

too many commercials, commercials seriously offend me

 

never, i find it so boring and think its just a complete waste of time

Ever since dumping cable, I've actually been watching more TV.

 

It's okay to watch the tv screen

My TV cost me $20.oo at an SPCA sale and I think I wasted my money.

 

Nice to see so much people that doesn't like the tv or watch it. In Sweden we call it "dumburk" which means "stupid can". I kind of like that.. the same with what some english-talking ppl call it, idiot box. That is the proper name of a television because what's on it? What does it give us? A false reality, an escape from the world, it alters our true will and is a marketing tool for the society and it's darn culture.

 

i recently got a part time job, ans had this conversation with a customer... he was ranting about hearing a paticular price on tv that we weren't advertising. he looks to me and goes,
didn't you see the commercial?!
and i responded,
i don't watch tv.
he looks incredulous and says, what do you mean you don't watch tv!?
i say,
i make the decision to not watch tv.


i could see his little lemming brain snap, to which he only responds,
how do you watch the game!?
to which i respond,
i don't.



his brain explodes.

 

I get tired of people asking me if I have seen the game..hell no I have not seen the game..what game?

I watch Dr. Who occasionally... I find it helps me keep my creativity up. I play guitar during the commercials. Other than that, my world has no TV

And you know, I'm even moving away from that. I only watch the new stuff anymore... which means I won't bother turning on the TV until the middle of the year. No biggie. Soon enough I doubt I'll watch any. It really isn't necessary

 

Up To About 7 Years Here, Doubt Iv'e Missed Much,

And I Couldn't Watch It If I Wanted Because We Went Digital Here

About 2 Years Ago And None Of My Sets Including The Plasma Can

Receive The Digital Signal...

I'll watch movies or docco's everything else is just shit for the sieve.Having fucktel and a TV was my partners idea,I don't really need movies or docco's.
