I've always been fascinated by evolution and microrganisms. In junior high (years ago!) I discovered these games. Both are very similar, but each interesting and different in their own way. Basically you have a pool full of these little swimmer organisms and they swim, eat, mate, and die... as they continue on they evolve based on who's the fast swimmer, who mates, etc. its evolution and natural selection.
