Lets use this sticky thread to post about our pets! Post pictures, stories, and tell us a bit about your pets!
this is from a few weeks ago. only she has grown since because she is a puppy. her ears are now more to either side but not standing up. some people say to clip the ears but i would never do that!
Riley is Treeing Walker Coonhound/Beagle mix I adopted from the Humane Society. He was a victim of foreclosure. He's turned out to be a great companion. He's got the sharpness of the coonhound with the quickness of a beagle.
my kitten Bojangles (Bo for short) as of now she's seven months old. she LOVES music and always curls up on my desk when I have it playing. she especially likes Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, and Donovan. kind of weirded out by The Beatles, though...I think they still scare her she behaves more like a dog than a cat. she fetches and always comes running when someones comes over. i love her http://photos-g.ll.************/photos-ll-sf2p/v310/115/72/507317968/n507317968_609870_3103.jpg

We have 12 mice...theyre different colours, some black and white, some choc and white, a couple choc all over and a grey boy Theyre all rescues and live in tanks we made Theyre friendly, curious, active and fun little creatures, and so easy to look after And they all have names and very distinct characters
This isn't my pet but I love her anyway lol. It's my friend Kyle's kitten we just call her Kitty lol. She likes to play fetch with twist ties.
These are my two creatures. The white one died in December though so now it's just the little masked fellow.
This is my goat Stevie Nicks. We had to leave her behind when we moved from Montana to Georgia. We saved her from the rodeo and let her roam free on our 40 acres up there acting as our organic lawn control system. We provided her with hay, she provided us with enough top soil for a lawn and she kept it short enough that we never had to cut it. When I would take my dog for a walk, she would follow and so would the cat, and the whole neighborhood knew me as "that girl with the goat." We used to put a huge round bail of alfalpha out in the yard for her in the winter. She would start eating in the center of it and by the time the snow began to blow from the northwest she would have eaten a hole into the southeastside of the hay bail big enough for her to curl up in. She perferred this over sleeping in her shed or in the garage especially during the coldest nights that typically got down to 30 below zero. She managed to get out of every thing everyone built to try to contain her, so that's why she was a free roaming goat. We found her a good home with our old neighbors, but I miss my goat. She was a good pet.
