I just wondering whether the shrooms only grow around farms on cow dung. i dont live near any farms. I know there are a few (like 3) types of shrooms that grow in Missouri but i dont know if any of these are near St.Louis. I was just asking if anyone had experience with picking shrooms around my area. i dont want to waste my time.

I'm from St. Louis. I've seen mushrooms walking around in the woods by my house, but never cared to see if they were any good.
