so my friend got his nips pierced a few months ago (5 months?) and one side has been bothering him and oozing pus for a while. he showed them to me and apparently the piercer went through the nip on one side, and out the areola on the other. a few days ago, he showed me a bump on the surface which popped when he pushed on it. i suggested he take it out and let it heal, but it's a closed-ball ring or whatever you call them and he can't take it off. should he take it back to the piercer and have it redone for free? i think he should go to a different (better) piercer and just pay to have it redone after it heals. any thoughts or suggestions?

Don't take it out if it's infected!! If it closes over the infection will be trapped!
