When it comes to clothes how important are other people opinions?

My closet consists of:
band t-shirts
jeans

If people don't think I look good, oh well, I already know that.

 

sometimes i take note of what my mom thinks, she generally picks good stuff. then again sometimes she attempts some pretty bad stuff. :tongue:

It doesn't much matter to me, I wear what's comfortable most of the time. I'll dress better when it matters - going to a funeral, to court, etc. I won't say "I don't give a shit what people think", because it has sort of a "fuck you and everybody that looks like you" ring to it and I'm not that way. So what they say won't change me, but I'm not going to be rude about it. If someone I'm around a lot says "Man, I've got this phobia about cows, they give me nightmares after I see them" then I'm not going to wear a cow-print t-shirt around him. (that's a true story, they really did freak him out so bad I would never even ask for the full story. We were going to all get the cow t's and wear them around him as a tease until I found out it would really, really wreck his day. I felt sorry for him.)

 

opinions dont matter at all, neither do clothes unless its freezing, then all that matters is they keep u warm

 

i could careless about what others think. i have too much clothes. i feel like cleaning out my closet again!

 

I couldn't care less about what others think about what I wear, though I don't like to look hobonesque.

I used to always care about what people thought of me but now i could care less. I wear what i want and nobody can change that.=]

i buy (or get) clothes that I like, that I would wear, and if other people don't like them (it) i'm sorry but i really dont care. sometimes i could wear the ugliest thing in the world according to some people but then to other people they think it belongs on the runway. it all depends on your taste! and i wear what I like who cares what other people think!!!:H

i listen to what people have to say, but i don't use what they have to say. i wear what i like and could honestly care less what people think of it.

 

I'll dress up if only I am going out of the house for a few hours (nice blouse or spring/summer dress, heels, makeup, and such).

But if I'm just going to the video store or any kind of store, I'll just put t-shirt and shorts on (very little makeup or none). It's only for a few minutes anyway.
