Best countries to visit in Europe?

Hi everyone.

I had never traveled out of my litle country before. Now that I have some money and time available to it, I would like to visit 2 or 3 countries in Europe. Wich do you think are the best of the best to visit? Wich ones you recomend me and why and more precisely, wich locations in each one?

I really like Italy & Scotland (apart from the weather).

 

Holland

 

Norway, Scotland and Ireland...

 

England

 

Italy, Switzerland..

 

not to blow my own horn but Belgium has some gorgeous places

id also go for scotland and maybe greece

Yes it´s truth. The question is, what kind of holiday do you prefer ? What do you want to see ? Lot of original culture ? Culture like concert, good events, etc... ? Nature and which type ? Wildness ? Adventure ? Or luxurious holiday with good services ?

Scandinavia. Denmark, Sweden, Norway - highly recommended! You want be disappointed by the "cold" scandinavians. People and the nature there are wonderful.

There exist no best country in Europe. All depend on what you're searching, and I think any European country is broad enough to contain all what is desired for any spirit. It's more a matter of where to go in each country, and I will recommend you to be more precise about what you desire, as you start your European adventure.

Hmm I think the best thing about Europe compared to other continents is the variety.
Big cities - London , paris , Rome and many more etc.
Beaches , Spain and Greece etc.

Plus its a good place to get on a train and travel from country to country.
Why dont you go say Portugal , Barcelona , Monaco , beach France and country France , Paris , Amsterdam or Berlin and finish in Scandinavia and / or the Baltics / St Petersburg.

I think thatd be a terrific trip.
Or if u wanna save cash , just see what you can get on cheap flights and trains and ferries 1 way , here and there?
My friend booked us a trip to Gdansk , which I thought would be a toilet of a place , but Gdansk and the people were terrific.

Lisbon's a lovely place BTW.
One of the best parts is flying into the city centre airport over that bridge and the castle and the city.

 

it ain't possible to answer this question man...Europe is too different and every corner has got something particular or worthwhile to be visited...

 

Serbia is very nice to visit,

 

Bulgaria: It has beach, ancient culture, lots of yogurt and it is really cheap. The problem is, from Portugal the flights are expensive. Am also from Portugal and I want to go there this summer, and I am looking for the cheapest way to go. Not so easy.

Anyway, there are so many places in Europe. It suits almost all the different tastes.

 

It depends on what kind of holiday you want. Personally I think Ireland is very beautiful, but maybe you wouldn't like it.
Come to Hungary. Maybe it's not the best place, but we're friendly. Sometimes.

 

The nordic and baltic countries are gorgeous. If you want to get away from the commerical cities try anywhere in Estonia or Finland.

 

Croatia is beautiful.
