wow everyone is very diverse. i am greek, irish, german and cherokee. its surprising to see how many people have native american roots
multiculti, most of them not listed. my mom's family were polish jews that lived on the lower east side of new york in the 20s when that was the yiddish neighborhood. the came over after the kaiser's pograms and before the rise of hitler's holocaust. my dad's paternal lineage, i never met anyone on his side of the family btw, just my mom's, were mercinary hessians who were hired by the british to murder french settlers and indiginous inhabitants in what is now upstate new york before there was any such place as america as a country. his mother's father was an andrews from scotland and his mother's mother was an onondagwa woman, who'se real indiginous name i have never been able to learn. the polish jewish lineage is konigsburg, like the city, and my father's was teall, who'se infamous new world ancestor was appearantly the ranking mercinary under the command of general sullivan, one nathan teal. =^^= .../\...
I like to think of myself as anglo saxxon. It's SO much better than just "white" or "British." It envokes a longer sense of history. Gives it roots.
I am: Irish. Scottish. British. Puertoricana. My husband says he is half Finish and half mystery meat. lol!
my hubby is half finish. i never understand why when i meet others who are finish as well so fascinating. i get excited and he pretends not to know me.
