Please tell me, that I shouldn`t love this song too much... (from the album 'SONGS OF LEONARD COHEN') Come over to the window, my little darling, I'd like to try to read your palm. I used to think I was some kind of Gypsy boy before I let you take me home. Now so long, Marianne, it's time that we began to laugh and cry and cry and laugh about it all again. Well you know that I love to live with you, but you make me forget so very much. I forget to pray for the angels and then the angels forget to pray for us. Now so long, Marianne, it's time that we began ... We met when we were almost young deep in the green lilac park. You held on to me like I was a crucifix, as we went kneeling through the dark. Oh so long, Marianne, it's time that we began ... Your letters they all say that you're beside me now. Then why do I feel alone? I'm standing on a ledge and your fine spider web is fastening my ankle to a stone. Now so long, Marianne, it's time that we began ... For now I need your hidden love. I'm cold as a new razor blade. You left when I told you I was curious, I never said that I was brave. Oh so long, Marianne, it's time that we began ... Oh, you are really such a pretty one. I see you've gone and changed your name again. And just when I climbed this whole mountainside, to wash my eyelids in the rain! Oh so long, Marianne, it's time that we began ...

Leonard Cohen is amazing, you should definitely like that song as much as you do! Digging KozmicBlue's choices too, Aphex Twin and Mum, excellent stuff. Currently playing The Undertones 'Teenage Kicks' - Surely one of the finest examples of real pop music!
I`m so glad, that somebody knows this song! (Everybody I asked told me not to know it, so I coudn`t share my love) Do you know Suzanne, too?
I guarantee that nobady knows this band and their music, cause it's from my country and they sang only Lithuanian...It's somethin like hippie style songs...The band called Antis it means duck and the song called Pokstas and translation is "Trick".... it's one of my favourite
Aye 'Suzanne' is pretty great too. 'Songs of Leonard Cohen' is the only album I've heard actually. I just think the man himself is amazing, therefore so is everything he's ever done! Have you read any of his books? 'Beautiful Losers' blew me away when I read it.
I have it and I watched it, hmm, I can't count how often I saw it It's the most outrageous movie I've ever seen... btw: np Scott McKenzie - San Francisco
Hey, till today I haven`t known about his books - but I will soon read one! This person seems to get more and more interesting. I`m looking forward to get him to know! He even wrote a book about Hitler, I saw.
