Story of the World for a 6 year old?

I have been looking into Story of the World. It looks like a good choice. Has anyone here used it? Do you think it is a good choice for a 6 year old?

 

I have it and like it. I use it with my 4 year old and it is a little bit beyond him but we still have fun. I would recommend getting the activity book too.

well i jsut dont want to tell now that i apply the same to my 2 year old chap... but yeah, it works sometimes. when you are really fatigued, you want to make your child happy, you can adopt.

 

I've taught it to five kids so far. I started when each one was 7, but these kids were each in third grade by then and read very well. They remembered everything and found it fascinating!

 

My kids are 7, 5.5, and 4. We're going through it for the second time and they are loving it just as much this time around.
