long story short - my brother rear ended somebody over the weekend, they had the suspision that he might be on drugs so they searched his vehicle and found xanax and some ritalin in a script bottle.

i've been told that this is a schedule 2 narcotic or some shit, not very familiar with the different classifications but yeah, it's a felony charge - so that shit is serious.

what is the usual sentance for something like this?

xanax is schedule IV, ritalin is schedule II. Both are subject to punishment without a prescription.
