Once I run out of series I can just get on dvd, I'll see about getting a digital t.v. Should be during 2020 when I have ran out of a good stock of tv series I'm prone to get on dvd.
Yes. And Roku box. I didnt have one for a while. Its awesome. I save a lot of gas money in the winter by not having to drive somewhere for entrrtainment, to just be inside there. Silly.
i've never not owned a tv. i have gone without television service for periods before, but i've always needed a tv for video game purposes.
Yeah, it's the 15th, I hadn't turned on my tv since the day before Christmas eve That's over 3 weeks. I find I'm using it less and less I might not bother next time I need to buy a new one. I love my notebook too much
well i don't own one now. looking at that first page of this thread. my wife was still alive then. haven't had a desire to get one. don't think there would have been one then if it wasn't her's and she wanted it. 2007, that was ten years ago. she died in 2010 and mom in 2011. my dad died in 1991. he never cared much for tv either. i think we both saw it as kind of a mind killer.
i bought a new one a few weeks ago it was advertised as a smart tv but very cheap..turns out it was cheap because it only get youtube and netflicks thru wifi...theres no damn browser ...which kind of defeats the purpose because i wanted to kodi it but its my fault i didnt do enough research worse case is i use it for security cam monitor and go buy a better one ...or just use a laptop to stream to it via hdmi
i never thought about it before, but technically i don't own a refrigerator; i rent one. i owned a mini fridge back in college, but that was the last time i've actually had my own. the rest always come with the apartment.
^ yep. also dishwashers, showers, sinks and toilets. i could go on actually, there's quite a few things we take for granted that renters never actually own.
Got 3, will have 4 later. One in the living room, one in the bed room, one in the family room, and one in storage that will go in my office later
The TV hasn't been turned on since April. Thinking about replacing it with a fish tank. I guess that means yes I own one..
one of the best things I have ever done was getting rid of my TV. I have not watched any TV for 6 years and im proud of it!!! i recommend everybody do the same. You will be a)less brainwashed b)having more free time c)better able to phantasize d)in better health e
